Microscale Thermal Electrical Field Flow Fractionation (m-ThElFFF)

This work has resulted from the combination of microscale electrical and thermal FFF systems into one channel.  The combination provides the opportunity to perform separations using either method alone or in combination.  The fields can even be used in opposition to each other to modify the separation mode or determine the relative influence of the fields.
