| Work on microscale electrical field flow fractionation has been ongoing for several years as a part of the center, and served as the initial technology for development of the Center. Microscale ElFFF has been shown to have significant capabilities and is useful for separating nanoparticles of any type including viruses, proteins, DNA, cells, and other materials. Note that the Center is organizing the 13th International Symposium on Field- and Flow- based Separations.
